    ABOUT FLOATING

  • How are the pods cleaned and sanitized?

We take cleanliness very seriously. Our pods are top of the line models that are fully filtered and drained after each use. Each pod is fitted with a sophisticated water cleaning system.

The water is cleaned and treated before and after every floating session in four (4) different ways. (1. Acrylic super fine paper filter, 2. Glass-sand (quartz) filter, 3. UV disinfection lamp, 4. Chemical injection + V. Periodically an active coal (carbon) filter is installed.) If there is no floating session, the system cleans and circulates the water in the technical room every 2nd hour automatically.

The salty water is stored in a separate water reservoir. Only when the floating session begins will the salt water be transferred into the pod. There is no used water in the pods. The high concentration of Epsom salts is a natural disinfectant, and we take the time to thoroughly sterilize the pods after each use to ensure strict hygienic standards are met.

  • How is the air regulated in the pod?

A silent air ventilation system is installed inside each pod where air can passively circulate within the pod. So you’ll always have fresh, breathable air. The air is regulated to a comfortable, neutral skin temperature which enhances the feeling of floating as though you are floating in the air.

  • What is floatation therapy?

Floatation therapy is a way to relax the mind and body. While floating in a high concentration of salt water, your body becomes buoyant. This along with the water and air set to a neutral skin temperature allows for your body to float effortlessly and feel as though you are floating in the air. The silence and darkness (or light) create the perfect environment for sensory deprivation. A place free from distractions that allow for our mind, body and soul to relax, repair, and rejuvenate.

  • What type of tanks do you have?

FLOAT Pod Spa has two (2) different types of float tanks:

The FLOAT pool is designed much larger, fully enclosed approximately 7 feet wide x 7 feet tall. Offering more space. The pool can be used by (1) one person or (2) two people. Enjoy it alone or with someone.

  • Why do you use Epsom salt?

The density of Epsom salts creates the ideal environment to float naturally without effort. Helping not only the body to float but allowing the head to stay buoyant keeping eyes, nose and mouth out of the water.
